Terms of Service

Agreement

FeedEmbed is operated by Ola Berger Consulting (company registration no. 37655791), based in Copenhagen, Denmark (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using FeedEmbed (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you’re using FeedEmbed on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice via email before any material changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that point means you accept the updated terms.

Account terms

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by local law) to use FeedEmbed.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We’re not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts via automated means (bots, scripts, etc.).
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FeedEmbed to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users or individuals
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service in ways not permitted by these terms
  • Use the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users (e.g. generating excessive API traffic beyond your plan limits)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Instagram and Meta platform terms

FeedEmbed accesses Instagram data on your behalf using the Meta / Instagram Graph API. By connecting your Instagram account, you also agree to Meta’s Platform Terms and Instagram’s Terms of Use. You are responsible for ensuring that the Instagram content you display via FeedEmbed complies with those terms. We are not liable for any issues arising from your use of the Meta API or changes Meta makes to their API, permissions, or policies.

Payment, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance — monthly or annually, depending on the billing cycle you choose. All prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location.

Free plans require no credit card. Upgrading to a paid plan triggers immediate billing. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

All paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date you first subscribe. If you’re not satisfied, email hello@feedembed.io within 14 days and we’ll issue a full refund — no questions asked. Beyond the 14-day window, we don’t issue automatic refunds, but if you run into a billing issue, reach out and we’ll review it on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will revert to the Free tier (subject to Free plan limits).

You can fully delete your account and all associated data from your settings page. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior toward our team, or if we determine (at our discretion) that your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or the platform.

Plan limits and fair use

Each plan comes with defined limits (monthly feed views, number of sources, posts displayed, refresh interval). If your usage consistently exceeds your plan’s limits, we may throttle your feed refresh rate or reach out to discuss an upgrade.

Plans are intended for normal business use. Using the Service to generate unusual volumes of API traffic, to stress-test our infrastructure, or to resell access to our platform without prior agreement is not permitted.

Service availability

We aim to keep FeedEmbed running reliably, but we provide the Service “as is” and “as available” without uptime guarantees unless you’re on an Agency plan with a separate SLA in place. We may perform maintenance that causes temporary downtime — we’ll try to schedule this during off-peak hours and give advance notice where possible.

We are not liable for interruptions caused by third parties (e.g. Meta API outages, Cloudflare incidents, Supabase downtime).

Content and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of your Instagram content. By using FeedEmbed, you grant us a limited license to fetch, cache, and serve that content solely for the purpose of powering your embedded feed.

FeedEmbed’s branding, design, code, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any part of the Service without our written permission.

Privacy

Your use of FeedEmbed is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedEmbed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark. If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you retain any mandatory protections afforded to you under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
